ART CONTEST
Deadline June 18, 2018 BC Child and Youth in Care Week is looking for a young artist who can help to rebrand the week! Check out our current logo! Download the contest poster and entry form. We are calling all current and former youth in care to submit their artwork with a title/slogan that expresses your own personal message about celebrating children and youth in care (it could be a drawing, collage, painting, or digital art piece) on 8.5" x 11" paper. The winner's work will be featured in the committee's posters and other communications for BC Child and Youth in Care week 2019, and the lucky artist will also take home a $100 gift card! |
HOST AN EVENT Apply for a Community Celebration Bursary Complete the Bursary Application Form. BCCYICW is excited to announce a new bursary to help support community celebrations for youth in and from care. The eighth annual BC Child and Youth in Care week will take place from June 4-10, 2018. We are encouraging everyone across BC to take this opportunity to stand together with all current and former youth in care to celebrate their diverse talents and accomplishments. There are two levels of bursaries available depending on the size of your celebration. Ten events of up to 10 participants will receive $250 and 12 events with over 5 participants will receive $500.
